Durante o mês de dezembro teremos a participação especial da artista convidada Bruna Mayer (@brunapmayer) para o Take-Over.
Artista visual brasileira, residindo em Berlim desde 2018, trabalha com diversos suportes, entre eles instalação e vídeo. Em sua narrativa recente, investiga microrganismos vivos, que utiliza para refletir sobre temas ligados à vida e à morte, a interconectividade de todos os seres, e a transitoriedade da nossa existência. Em sua obra, ao aprofundar-se nas relações simbióticas entre fungos, bactérias e humanos - que transcendem os limites da vida e morte, ser humano e natureza, humano e não-humano - Bruna Mayer busca uma visão mais ampla e integrativa da vida, do ser e da natureza.

O encerramento da programação da Bienal On-Line atravessa fronteiras com a programação de dezembro. A artista Bruna Mayer, residente em Berlim, toma conta das redes do evento durante esse mês, fazendo publicações com suas obras. A ação, chamada take over, busca permitir a artistas que compartilhem seus projetos e dialoguem com o público amplo e variado da Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporânea de Curitiba. As ações acontecem no Instagram da Bienal (@bienaldecuritiba), gratuitamente. Outros conteúdos relacionados ao evento continuam sendo postados, mantendo a rede social sempre ativa.

The video installation ‘From the Stars we Came, To the Stars We Shall Return’ by Bruna Mayer, investigates the bacteria and fungi found in the soil of Berlin’s cemeteries. The artist reveals their unique shapes and patterns and brings close their microscopic nature to the vastness and infinity of galaxies and the cosmos. The work is an invitation to reflect on the relationship between the human and nonhuman, life and death, growth and decay, and the transience of our existence.
